27 July 2017 – the board of PPL Ltd announced today that it is targeting mid-September for the go live date for the next release of the platform. This will deliver better functionality and usability with improved workflow and performance. It will also introduce the ability to process facilities business and phase 1 of carrier integration to PPL, part of which will allow firms to send information from PPL to the London Market TOM’s Structured Data Capture.
David Ledger, Chairman of the PPL Board said “Those who have seen demonstrations of the new release have been very positive about the improvements it will deliver to users. We do recognise however that the delay has created some issues for the market in getting prepared and we are very grateful for everyone’s patience.
“Guaranteeing the quality that the market expects and needs is of primary importance to everyone at PPL. Once Ebix provide the final platform, the team will undertake extensive testing to ensure that it meets our stringent quality requirements and works as the market would expect.”
