Many on-line applications/platforms/systems now have multi-factor authentication installed to increase protection from cybercrime.
In November this year, a 6-digit passcode will be introduced as a mandatory additional login for all users. This means that all users will need to enter their normal password and a passcode every time they log in to their PPL account.
Once the date in November is agreed, we will communicate again. There are no technical actions for your firm in advance of the secondary login being switched on, however:
- We recommend that you communicate the introduction of the passcode to your users now;
- PPL will put a message on the Platform login screen to inform users of the upcoming change;
