The number of brokers and carriers signed up on PPL has grown steadily over the past few years. PPL gives you access to the London Market with over 15,000 registered users. To see which firms are signed up to PPL, please click here.
The Management Information (MI) functionality within the PPL platform gives brokers and carriers the ability to download MI data extracts for quotes, firm orders and endorsements, whenever you need it.
PPL offers both virtual, classroom-style training and online training through our eLearning Management System (LMS). The various training approaches enable users to learn how to quote, negotiate, bind and endorse business digitally. We can also give professional trainers the tools to train others. Monthly market forum
The PPL Team runs a monthly WebEx that includes updates, market news, tips and tricks, release updates as well as an opportunity to ask questions to both the PPL team and your market peers on the phone. Full notes and slides follow this call, ensuring PPL reaches as wide an audience as possible.
Support with Lloyd’s mandates
Q2, 2018 saw the first launch of an e-placing mandate for all Lloyd’s managing agents. All in-scope business has to be bound electronically using a “Lloyd’s recognised” platform with pre-set targets for digital adoption.
In Q2 of 2019, Lloyd’s have widened the net in two areas; they have added quoting to the mandate, to be transacted digitally with targets to achieve and secondly, on 1st June 2019 all Lloyd’s brokers have to be connected to a recognised e-placing platform as part of the criteria to be a Lloyd’s registered broker.
