David Ledger, Chairman of the PPL Board said “We are delighted that the next lines of business will be going live so soon – maintaining the momentum that is building around the roll-out of PPL. Activity in stand-alone terrorism is rising very satisfactorily as the market gets busier ahead of the renewals, and brokers and underwriters become more comfortable with the system. In the first three weeks of October more risks were bound than in the previous three months in total.
“We are also working to improve the platform in response to the considerable amount of practitioner feedback that we receive on a regular basis. A clear roadmap has been created to deliver additional functionality with significant improvements by the end of the first quarter of next year, with more to follow throughout 2017. We believe that, as the benefits of PPL become available more widely, so market confidence will further increase.”
