The PPL Board, supported by the cross-market governance groups have agreed that MARINE will be the next Class of Business to follow Financial and Professional Lines.
The IUA, LIIBA and LMA will be “recruiting” members for the PPL Marine working group in preparation to commence work on this Class in September.
FINANCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL LINES UPDATE
The outputs of the Financial and Professional Lines review have been played back to the wider Financial and Professional Lines community in two separate sessions; last Wednesday and Friday, alongside a live demonstration of the platform.
Whilst functionality enhancements have been identified, the group agreed that there are no “show-stoppers” to going live on the current version of the platform. However, the wider Financial and Professional Lines community has the opportunity to submit further feedback this week to be considered as part of the review. The Financial and Professional Lines “discovery phase” closes Friday, 19th August.
PPL continue to engage all Financial and Professional Lines broking and underwriting firms to prepare for and complete the on-boarding process, ready to join the platform. The completion of the “discovery phase” coupled with the market on-boarding returns, the live date can be confirmed. PPL are aiming for a Q4 go-live.
