Management information

The Management Information (MI) functionality within the PPL platform gives brokers and carriers the ability to download MI data extracts for quotes, firm orders and endorsements, whenever you need it.

Training

PPL offers both classroom-based training at Ebix, Liverpool Street and online training with our eLearning Management System (LMS). The various training approaches enable users to quote, negotiate, bind and endorse business digitally or give professional trainers the tools to train others.  Our courses receive excellent feedback in terms of content, training and materials. Market demonstrations

PPL holds open house demonstrations at Lloyd’s on a bi-weekly basis, welcoming brokers and underwriters who wish to see the PPL Platform for themselves, or practitioners who want to refresh and ask questions in a relaxed, informative environment. PPL User Helpdesk

The PPL User Helpdesk is open 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday and is based at the Ebix office in the City of London. Bi-Weekly Market Forum

The PPL Team runs a bi-weekly WebEx that includes updates, market news, tips and tricks, release updates as well as an opportunity to ask questions to both the PPL team and your market peers on the phone. Full notes and slides follow this call, ensuring PPL reaches as wide an audience as possible.

Support with Lloyd's Mandates

Q2, 2018 saw the first launch of an e-placing mandate for all Lloyd’s managing agents. All in-scope business has to be bound electronically using a “Lloyd’s recognised” platform with pre-set targets for digital adoption.

In Q2 of 2019, Lloyd’s have widened the net in two areas; they have added quoting to the mandate, to be transacted digitally with targets to achieve and secondly, on 1st June 2019 all Lloyd’s brokers have to be connected to a recognised e-placing platform as part of the criteria to be a Lloyd’s registered broker.
